Last updated: Dec 07, 2025
Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of VideoSherlock and work together with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you confirm you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What We Do
VideoSherlock lets you search, summarize, and explore transcripts and keywords of third-party videos. We do not host or own that content and cannot guarantee its accuracy, availability, or legality. Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
Accounts and Communications
Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. We may send you service and security notices. Marketing messages are optional where required by law.
Payments and Subscriptions
If you buy paid features, you authorize us or our payment partners to charge you per your selected plan. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable for the current billing period. We may adjust pricing with prior notice.
Acceptable Use
Do not scrape at scale, spam, attack the Service, reverse engineer, infringe rights, harass others, or break laws. Do not bypass rate limits or security controls.
Content and Intellectual Property
You keep rights to content you input; you allow us to process it to provide the Service. Our code, branding, and UI stay ours. Third-party video content remains with its owners. No resale or sublicensing of the Service.
Third-Party Services
We use providers like Supabase (authentication/storage), payment processors, and logging/analytics tools to run the Service. We do not sell personal data; providers process data only as needed to deliver the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
Service Changes and Termination
We may change or discontinue features, and we may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security, legal, or operational reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation and do not control third-party content. Your statutory rights are not affected.
